Our Beta Chi chapter prides itself on our philanthropy events! Not only do we actively participate and support Kappa Psi's national philanthropy, Reach Out and Read, but we actively support a variety of local philanthropies as well! We always are looking for new places to volunteer and reach out in the Des Moines Community. We especially enjoy working with our fellow professional pharmacy fraternities on campus, Phi Delta Chi and Lambda Kappa Sigma, to promote their philanthropies and other local projects!

Reach Out and Read is a nonprofit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together.
